The community of Harker HeightsTexas is mourning the tragic and violent death of 35-year-old Leonard Alvin Green Jr., who was fatally shot in an incident now under investigation as a homicide in Bell County.

According to authorities, what began as a reported early-morning shooting has developed into a complex investigation involving multiple agencies and crime scenes. Law enforcement officials have also linked the case to allegations of aggravated kidnapping involving two victims and a vehicle fire, expanding the scope of the ongoing inquiry.

Justice of the Peace Nicola James officially pronounced Green deceased following the incident.
